Rumours of bands of young men undergoing paramilitary training were rife in sections of the popolous. Just awhile ago I was at the Junction’s Poetry open mic sessions where I encountered young minds ablaze with literary spirit. the age bracket being 35 to maybe 19.

The evening commenced wonderfully with bitings and small talk in the offing as strangers like we got mingle with veterans and fellow new schoolers to the forum. The theatre hall was jam packed as at 7 pm sharp the journey began. Agatha, the hostess for the evening did a marvelous job of keeping crowd awake and chirpy. The first poetess took to the stage and rest followed unfettered. My turn arrived and got me by surprise. Although abit nervous I survived and delivered my pieces called; Steal You Away & When Ashes Flower. dealing with romance and politics. I encountered interesting poets and poetesses who intrigued me with their stage antics and adroit semantics.
